Come Visit the Bates-Scofield Homestead

Our Bates-Scofield Homestead consists of three primary buildings linked together:

Our 18th century Bates-Scofield Home is a charm-filled, historic landmark listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Our 1827 Scofield Barn is a soaring post and beam barn with over 750 square feet of open exhibition space.

Our connector building contains our library, education center, collection vaults and administrative offices.

We are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday. Group visits and tours are available at other times by appointment.
